White House STEM Honors
White House recognizes disability leaders in education and employment as Champions of Change.

The White House names Ralph Braun as a "Champion of Change."
The White House honored 14 people on May 7 as Champions of Change for leading the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for people with disabilities in education and employment.
The Champions of Change program was created as a part of President Obama’s Winning the Future initiative. Each week, a different sector is highlighted and groups of champions are recognized for the work they are doing to serve and strengthen their communities.
Among the Champions of Change at the White House were:
- Ralph Braun, founder and CEO, The Braun Corporation
- Joseph Sullivan, president, Duxbury Systems, Inc.
- Maria Dolores Cimini, PhD, assistant director for prevention and program evaluation at the University at Albany (N.Y.) Counseling Center
- Steve Jacobs, president, IDEAL Group
- David H. Rose, EdD, developmental neuropsychologist and educator
- Christine Reich, director of research and evaluation, the Museum of Science in Boston
