Are you a veteran who served in Vietnam and diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), or a survivor of a veteran who served in Vietnam and died from CLL? If so, you are eligible to receive service-connected benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs for CLL, along with adjunct conditions, or Dependency Indemnity Compensation (DIC) if your spouse died from CLL. On January 23, the Institute of Medicine released a report based upon scientific studies that found ?sufficient evidence of an association? between CLL and exposure to herbicides during the Vietnam War.
